This position is for a dynamic Electrical Generator Technician with extensive experience in all electrical and mechanical aspects on generators. Duties will include: Repair generators; Maintain & Service generators; Install & maintain GSM SMS units Repair, replace & install generator controllers (All models); Installation of all electrical components on generators; Installation and build of controller boxes, including ATS Boxes; Installation of generators with necessary cables, etc.; Maintain & repair all office equipment, including office vehicles, where necessary; To give advice and train less experienced technicians; To assess the operation problems and recommend solutions; Diagnose faulty generators; Provide monthly service checks at client’s offices as required by the employer; Proceed with free service inspections as required by the employer; Be on call as and when required by the employer; To deliver and collect equipment, generators, tools and parts as and when required by the employer; Provide any service not listed above that will fall within the scope of the Job title; Ensure that all company tools, equipment, vehicles are operational and well maintained; Ensure that all company tools and equipment are maintained and stored correctly; Be available on a 24/7 basis for emergency call outs as necessary.
