Established Security Service Company is looking for a Technician to join the team in Gauteng Region.
The purpose of the Alarm Installation Technician is to ensure that all work as assigned is done to standard and the best of one’s ability.
Responsibilities:
Installation/Repair/Maintenance of Alarm Systems.
Keep informed of new products and developments.
Performing General Physical Activities – Such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials and equipment.
Communicate with Head Office and Branch Staff.
Training and Teaching others.
Operating vehicles, mechanized devices or Equipment.
Maintenance of own stock.
Req:
Computer Skills - Basic understanding of computers required.
Literacy and Numeracy - must have passed English/Afrikaans with a gr 10 level. Must have mathematics to a gr9 level.
Min 3 years alarm experience
Valid Drivers License
Must be Psira registered and Certificate up to date
Must have a valid Passport or in the process for applying for one
Texecom a must
CCTV experience will be to your advantage
EAS experience will be to your advantage
Strong admin skills
Ability to work under pressure towards strict deadlines
Willing to travel (company bakkie, cellphone and laptop will be provided for work purposes)
Position requires weekend/after hours standby as per roster
