Established Security Service Company is looking for a Alarm Technician to join the team in Port Elizabeth. The purpose of the Alarm Technician is to ensure that all work as assigned is done to standard and the best of one’s ability. The key aspects of this position are to ensure that the calls that have been assigned are done timeously, correctly, and billed correctly.
Installation/Repair/Maintenance of Alarm Systems.
Performing General Physical Activities – Such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials and equipment.
Communicate with Head Office and Branch Staff.
Training and Teaching others.
Management of stock.
Matric certificate with math's
Valid Drivers License
Min 3 years alarm experience
Psira registered and valid certificate
SAIDSA qualified will be to your advantage
Must have a valid Passport or in the process of applying for one
Texicom a must
CCTV experience will be to your advantage
EAS experience will be to your advantage
Strong admin skills
Ability to work under pressure towards strict deadlines
Willing to travel (company bakkie, cellphone and laptop will be provided for work purposes)
Position requires weekend/after hours standby as per roster
