Starken Engineering is currently looking for a qualified Technician / Onsite Machinist turner Machinest with a red seal who has worked on any of the following power stations before eg: Medupi, Kusile, Arnot, Koeberg, Duvha, and has Onsite Machining experience Must have Knowledge of the following. Heavy Engineering Machine shop Environments. Milling Machines Including Universal Horizontal boring Machines Surface grinder Cylindrical grinder Line boring Machines ( Climax portable Machines ) Weld preparation machine Flange facing Machine Machining complex and precision finishes in large and small industrial components CNC programming SAQA NQF LEVEL 4 Onsite drilling and hydraulic drilling Cold cutting Pipelines and Machine shop Engineering. experience with Cuplins and warn out bots and nuts and Surface Grinding Machines. as well as Rotek experience. Must have machine shop certificates Fitter Turner including machining Must be willing to travel and work out of the country if needed Certificates on engineering mathematics, science and engineering drawing Must be able to speak English, must be able to work with people, must have good workmanship. Drivers License is needed.Error!
