JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean, inspections on electrical equipment
Attend to breakdowns
Have knowledge of PLC systems
Remove equipment, installation, repairs (drives, electric motors, Scada systems, etc.)
Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical equipment | Required to conduct stand-by duties
May be required to work shift as part of the business requirements.
Maintaining of 5S within working environment
Willingness to assist in additional reasonable tasks on hand
Maximize performance on all equipment’s
Complete job cards, logbooks and inspection reports
Conduct safety inspections
Compile electrical schedules for the plant
Clean, inspections on equipment and lubrication of mechanical equipment
Remove equipment, installation, repair (pumps, electric motors, gearboxes, screw conveyors, Furnaces, Baghouses, bucket elevators, filter house repairs, fan installation, Induction furnaces, electric Arc furnaces, Chiller units, cooling tower etc.)
Trade tested Millwright / E&I Technician
Three (3) to four (4) years Apprenticeship programme or section 28 time served artisan
Grade 12
Minimum 5 years’ field service experience on mining process equipment
Computer Literate
Understanding and principles of customer relations and interaction
Ability to effectively communicate with a drive and performance orientation
Ability to work in a team atmosphere
