Job Summary

JOB OPPORTUNITY – Salary market related and depending on qualifications. Qualified Electrician (red seal) with at least 3 years maintenance experience. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair. Installing various types of industrial and manufacturing equipment. Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams. Ensure to install wiring of power supply and conduct newly installed equipment and machines. Ensures work facility fulfil all required safety and environmental needs. Troubleshooting, preventative and repair maintenance duties. Attain detailed information of OSHA Lock Out Tag Out Process and capability to record all internal paperwork. Install new equipment and modify existing equipment. Conduct preventative maintenance. Keep generator, lighting, and electrical systems in working order. Diagnose problems and then repair/replace defective parts. Need to act quickly when a breakdown occurs, must be able to tell management whether the problem can be corrected and whether business can continue as usual. If regular activities must be stopped, the electrician will have to estimate how long a shutdown will last. Willing to work on weekend and overtime with short notice. Prepare quotations. Perform other various tasks as instructed. Must have a drivers license and own transport. Must reside in Pretoria and able to start immediately. Send a short CV to admin1@itep.co.za.
