Must have experience in lodge industry management - manage costs, stock controls and good financial acumen. Computer literacy and knowledge of pastel will be beneficial.
Knowledge of group travel will be a benefit.

Be adaptable to the requirements of a 24 hour operation and willing to understand this position
Candidate must have excellent leadership qualities and have a thorough understanding of all levels of the lodge.

Experience:
Previous experience in a Big 5 reserve and 5 star lodge necessary
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Big 5 reserve
ResRequest experience will be beneficial
Package
Salary is negotiable depending on experience and references

Responsibilities Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Meticulous in all aspects of managing the lodge
Managing, Overseeing and Disciplining Staff
Staff training and development
Assisting the marketing manager to get content for social media
Hosting Duties
Allocation of Airport Transfers
Little paws program
Assistance around the lodge in other departments if needed

Manage the housekeeping and front office departments in conjunction with your HOD

Ensure costs are maintained as per the required standard
Assist with Events planning and execution
Assist with menu planning and cost control
