Game Lodge Head Chef Hoedspruit area Salary R16K - R18K Live in A 5 Star Lodge is looking for an experienced Lodge Head Chef to join the team. Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure and prioritise tasks. Ability to plan creative menus and stay on trend. Continual consistency with recipes and presentation Provide all necessary training to kitchen personnel. Ability to plan ahead and be able to adjust to a fast-paced environment. Aware of current industry standards and quality driven international standards Exemplary communication, administrative and organisational skills Able to follow set procedures and adhere to likes/ dislikes of guests. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Administration of orders, stock control and minimize wastages. Effective and personal guest interaction contributing to remarkable moments. Achieving service excellence through strong teamwork and problem-solving skills Culinary diploma or higher from a recognized tertiary institution. Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchens are of the highest standards. Supplier relations and getting the best quality products for our guests. Be able to live and work at the property for 21 days on, 7 days off rotation. Legally be permitted to work in South Africa. A driver’s license and a private vehicle
