This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of HR to join the team of a global communications firm.
The ideal candidate will act as an employee champion and a leader of change. You will plan, develop, organise, implement and direct the human resource function spanning the full HR value chain from talent acquisition, learning and development, reward, performance all the way through to talent retention.
Provide overall leadership and guidance by overseeing talent acquisition, employee career development, succession planning, retention programmes, training and leadership development.
Function as a strategic, human capital business advisor to the senior management team.
Develop initiatives, policies and programmes to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organisation.
Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talent.
Work together with the global team to roll out both annual review processes and new talent projects.
Manage HR for both the South Africa and Kenya office.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resources or management.
7+ years' of professional HR experience, ideally from a services-oriented business, with a combination of corporate and business unit line experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, organise and prioritise work.
