Our client a leading automotive supplier worldwide is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join the team.
- Manage the process of contract creation, execution, and analysis in order to enhance an organization's operational and financial performance while minimizing financial risk by
- Maintain a close eye on volume, margins, and Contract Price Adjustments.
- Oversee and maintain Salesforce.com
- Direct all technical inquiries or concerns to the appropriate individuals.
- Maintain vendor information for customers
- Compilation and submission of tenders
- Present and recommend pricing adjustments based on market knowledge developed.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Manage the company’s relationships and interactions with customers and potential customers using data analysis
- Strengthen and deepen relationships with customers through in-person visits to identify key decision makers and gain a deeper understanding of their needs.
- Work in collaboration with Key Account Managers and the service sector to promote all goods.
- Accountability to customers and markets
- Quote Management (coordination and submission of RFQ to customer, follow-up on quotations)
Contracts and Purchase Orders
- Maintain and manage client complaints about service quality, delivery timeliness, and product.
- Resolving difficulties pertaining to payment
- Supervise the Customer Service team's level of customer service.
- Arrange for promotional efforts on the customer's behalf
- Product Introductions
- Coordination of sales activities
- Consultation with customers regarding product application and training on the fundamentals of CBG
- Monitor the belt performance of consumers
- Conduct belt inspections with clients to determine when they should be replaced, what belt to quote, and how to mitigate claims.
- Suggest ways to increase the supply base (including cross divisional products)
Commercial & Sales Planning:
- Prospecting for New Prospects
- Obtaining new clients/projects
- Developing customer sales plans/strategies based on segment targets/budgets
- Market and competitor analysis
- EBIT and revenue forecasting for existing customers
- Financial reporting on sales numbers and profit margins
- Coordination across the organization
- Attendance at exhibitions
- Product performance feedback, including data entry into Salesforce and Contributions to price trend analysis and order win-loss ratios
- Grade 12 or matriculation certificate
- Greater than four years’ experience in the specific job field
- After sales marketing experience
- Experience managing small projects, utilizing project management structures and templates.
- 1-2 years’ experience leading people
- At least one year experience in a cross functional environment
