Job Summary
A media communications agency has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager who has worked with global blue-chip clients.
Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities
- Build and develop new and existing business
- Prepare compelling targeted client presentations and proposals
- Successful delivery of sales targets, sales forecasting and reports
- Representing the company at various industry trade shows and conferences
- Work closely with CEO and MD
- Keeping on top of industry trends and competitors
- Seek out business opportunities
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally
Requirements
- 3+ years in a relevant sales role (ideally in media and/or HSE products or services)
- Experience in dealing with global blue-chip clients
- Understanding of the full sales cycle (identification, development, presenting, closing and successful delivery)
- Knowledge and understanding of digital media
- Personable and values the development of long term relationships with clients
- A self-starter who has drive and initiative to grow a business without typical business infrastructure
- Curious about the world, geopolitics and global businesses
- Travel and arrange meetings, presentations and schedules
- Driven, ambitions and enjoys the challenge of “making things happen”
- Not being afraid of highly technical content
- Good people skills
- Excellent communication skills (including writing)
