Job Summary

Senior Certificate
5 Years FMCG experience at Management Level
Product knowledge in Hardware will be a definite advantage
Experience in Trading
Valid drivers license
Proficiency in IQ an advantage
Financial Acumen
Ensure sales and costs are in line with the store budget
Manage gross profit by ensuring shrinkage kept to budgeted amount
Take corrective action to deal with variances
Ensure procedures to reduce shrinkage are in place and monitored
Manage sales
Support annual budget process
Customer Service
Store promotions
Ensure all staff understand their role in making home building simple for their customers
Log and action customers' complaints daily
Management and Leadership of staff
All staff must have signed job descriptions
Staff meetings
Reports
Promotion Plans
Efficient Administration of store
Correct stock level for store size evident
Out of stock items to be kept at a minimum
Reconciliations must be up to date
Housekeeping
Merchandising
Fleet Management
Daily checklist for vehicles set up and utilized by staff
Vehicle maintenance
Licenses in place for all drivers
Control vehicle expenses
Store Security
Shrinkage Control Checklists
Liaise with security companies to discuss security issues
