Must have a commercial or technical tertiary qualification
Minimum 5 years’ experience in middle management positions, within the mining/ heavy industries/ process/ engineering fields is essential
A proven track record of related growth generation achievements is important
Must have knowledge and experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment systems
A high level of business acumen and understanding of financial management will be required
Above average computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and communication skills are important for this role
Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Preparing and managing annual budgets, meeting sales vs. budget expectations.
Growing the customer base year-on-year in terms of revenue and profit margins.
Creating and executing growth strategies that drive an integrated sales approach with the Service Delivery teams.
Leveraging the company’s current footprint and domain expertise to drive and close Project Purpose and other strategic growth opportunities.
Delivering on strategic projects to implement new technologies and enable cost / efficiency improvements at customers.
Developing and maintaining key strategic customer relationships in the industry.
Developing business plans for strategic investment into pilot field trials as proof-of-concept.
Leveraging other internal company relationships where relevant in order to build strategic customer relationships.
Responsible for living and demonstrating company values.
