•Marketing and Sales Diploma or Degree, Ba in business management, Communication and 5-year FIELD SALES work experience.
Well Trained and experienced in Customer Service, Meeting Sales Goals, Closing Skills, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Affluent in negotiation practices, and EXCEPTIONAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE PROCESSED MEAT MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY – Intensive Product Knowledge, Well-spoken and good Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, motivated to drive sales in a healthy way. Dynamic, self-driven, Self-Confident, and punctual. Competent in all relevant Computer programs and focused on daily feedback of clients visited and sales generated—strong administrative skills. High performance orientated and ability to work under pressure.
FLUENT IN AFRIKAANS & ENGLISH
This position is not for an order taker but a qualified field sales representative to grow our business through active involvement in our clients` businesses.
The main focus will be on the following:
•Service existing customers and calling on sales outlets and other trade references by following a daily schedule set up by the sales department. These sales will not form part of individual targets set.
•Focus on sales efforts by studying existing and potential volumes of sales.
•Keep management informed of progress on sales by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
•Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
•Recommends changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
•Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
•Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.
•Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
•Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Focus on Sales & Marketing of Theron`s Meat Products
•Generate profitable new business through prospecting and inquiry handling within the local market to exceed set targets. Sales targets are directly linked to your basic salary each month.
•Drive and maximize service revenue through up-selling of variable services to new and existing customers.
•Conduct cold calling excursions to convert prospects into customers by effectively listening and selling the entire product range.
•Prospecting to generate leads through local companies, partnerships, and brokers.
•Effectively manage leads and continuously update clients throughout the sales process to close the deal.
•Keeps abreast of the local market by attending networking events and building strong channels of relationships with peers in the marketplace.
Focus on Customer Service
•Focus on meeting Customer needs by ensuring that the center team delivers exceptional customer service and customer’s orders and needs are handled effectively and efficiently.
•Provide direction and communicate with production, dispatch, and the administration team to ensure 100% order fill.
•It is of the UTMOST importance to know your place in the chain of command and to respect each department in the company. You need to be a team player and have a “servant” kind of personality.
Candidates applying for this position will be expected to successfully pass all components of the recruitment and selection process, which includes but is not limited to:
• Application screening
• Practical exam

• Valid driver's license
• Clean bad debt record
• Clean criminal record
• Clean DMV & drug screen required.
• Clean polygraph test
The cost of recruitment screening tests will be R895 and for the account of the applicant (Payable 24 hours BEFORE the onset of the tests, which will be after the second interview, and which will only be done if you are deemed a successful candidate for an appointment)
UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THIS SCREENING, THE COMPANY WILL REIMBURSE THE COST OF SCREENING TO YOU ONCE YOU ARE CLEARED WITH A CLEAN RECORD OF CONDUCT.
Remuneration: Basic Salary of 21 500 subject to a monthly target + Fixed cell phone allowance of R 750 + Fuel allowance not exceeding R 3500-00 per month
COST TO COMPANY Remuneration Package R 26 200.00 per month
Salary Frequency: Monthly / Commission based
Appointment Type: Permanent subject to an initial Trainee probation period of three months to establish skills and compatibility with the Company.
If deemed compatible and skilled, there will be a further three-month probation period as a field sales representative.
