Purpose
To provide sufficient assistance with the daily HR functionalities, including Recruitment, Industrial Relations, on/off-boarding, general administration etc.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Full leave administration function and absenteeism.
• General filing / continuously ensure that records are kept updated
• Create and manage new employee files
• Minutes of meetings, etc.
• Draw up amendments for staff (transfers, amendments, remuneration changes etc.)
• Go through attendance registers and take action if needed
• Disciplinary Processes
• Recruitment
• Payroll
• Compliance
• Ad-hoc administration duties that will be required from time to time
Desired Experience & Qualification
• Matric
• Diploma / Cert in HR Administration will be advantageous
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a same or similar role (advantageous)
• Strong organising and administration skills
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Excel – (intermediate to advance experience)
• Knowledge of relevant legislations (LRA, BCEA, EE etc.)
• Role requires strong administration experience with accuracy and high attention to detail
• Conflict resolution skills
• Excellent planning and organising skills
• Good knowledge and understanding of HR systems & practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• People management skills
• Problem-solving skills
