A vibrant agency in Durban is looking for a Strategic Planner who will play a vital role in helping to guide and shape the success of their client brands through knowledge of their business, target markets, competitors and brand positioning, so doing providing insights and observations that inform strategically sound creative work and business solutions.
Responsibilities:
Have a clear understanding of consumer, market and customer insights
Ensure objectives of each brief is met and that the best solution is found to address the problem / opportunity that the brand is facing
Integrating and maintaining sound relationships with Client Service and Creative
Building and maintaining sound client relationships through the delivery of quality strategic input to assist with building the client’s brands
To provide ongoing knowledge-sharing with agency stakeholders and oversee junior members of the team (if applicable), providing mentoring and training
Experience required:
Min of 2-5yrs advertising agency experience in a strategic planning role
An understanding of media and channel planning
Proactive problem solving abilities
Sound understanding of Qualitative and Quantitative research
Engaging and articulate presentation skills
