Open position: Sales Consultant Location: Port Elizabeth Salary: Market Related Type: Permanent Report to: Admin Manager
The incumbent will be responsible to coordinate and control administrative functionalities within the Division including facilitating and supporting the recording, updating, circulation of maintenance of information from / to the regions with regards to various activities. Assist in the efficiency and the practical implementations of the production function to ensure that customers are serviced within the specified time limits as per warehouse instructions and marketing commitments.
Job Requirements:
Must have a matric / grade 12 qualification
Tertiary qualification related to the position will be essential
5 Years work experience preferable
Preferably with experience in steel or Automotive products
Must have the ability to negotiate at all levels within the customer’s organisation
Must be able to close deals on a daily basis
Must be a self-starter and be able to effectively manage a Sales team
Must be computer literate – PowerPoint, Word and Excel – must be able to manipulate and analyse data in excel
Duties:
Liaise and communicate regularly with internal and Sales Department / external customer’s regarding administration
Controlling of pricing for customers and following pricing structures put in place by the Commercial Manager
Continuous customer interaction to build long term relationships, provide excellent service levels and ultimately grow our market share
Identify and implement areas of continuous improvement
Timely notification to Management of any issues that may impact company operations i.e. market conditions that may adversely affect our business
Ensure Supervisors are kept up to date with relevant information
Plan and schedule workflow for production facility and activities
Maintain and strengthen internal interaction with the various divisions in the company as well as companies within the firm to ensure that we meet and exceed our customers’ expectations
Adheres to departmental policies and procedures
Ensure compliance to SHEQ policies, procedures and standards
Perform general administration functions and provide support on matters concerning administrative functions
