The successful candidate will be:
Responsible for conducting a range of environmental studies in the broad fields of Environmental Management. This includes but is not limited to Basic Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessments, General Authorisations, Water Use Licences, IWWMPs, Waste Management Licences, Public Participation, Specialist liaison, Auditing, Site Assessments and Gap Analysis.
Required to work independently and in a team.
Must be a registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) – registered with EAPASA
No experience necessary
Strong interpersonal skills
The ability to speak an African language will be advantageous
Thorough understanding of South African environmental, water and waste legislation
Excellent report writing skills
Ability to liaise with a broad range of role players with confidence including Clients, Authorities, Stakeholders and Colleagues
Valid Driver’s Licence
Must Reside in the East Rand Area.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
