Job Summary
Looking for a Communications Officer excellent verbal and written communication skills to assist the marketing team of a technology focused business
You will be responsible for coordinating the communications output within the company. Create and deliver emails, brochures, newsletters and other publications. Maintain a positive public brand image of the company.
FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS/ACTIVITIES:
- Internal and External Communication
- Manage all internal communications within the company (memo’s, newsletters, etc.)
- Create company literature and other forms of communication
- Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications
- Manage company’s internal communications app
- Handle all external company communication (customer newsletters, email, etc.)
- Assist with editing and proof-reading product brochures created for customers
- Create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic
JOB SPECIFICATION
Corporate Image
- Promote products and services through public relations initiatives
- Develop marketing communications campaigns
- Assist with product launches, road shows, campaigns etc
- Identify, develop and execute communications strategy that will enhance the company’s corporate image
- Assist with corporate gifting
- Create social media content
- Manage company’s social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook accounts, etc.)
- Keep information on company’s website updated and relevant at all times
- Research industry trends
Advertisement
- Proof read and edit advertisements for both external and internal use
- Assist with placing of adverts on social media platforms (recruitment, new products, etc.)
ACADEMIC AND TRADE QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma /Bachelor’s Degree in Business Communication or related fields. PRISA
WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- 3-5 years work experience related to communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Social Media Platforms
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills. Marketing knowledge.
