Job Summary
A well-established and highly respected pharmaceutical manufacturing company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tablet Compression Operator to join their team. Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and break down high-speed tablet compression machines in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Monitor the compression process continuously to ensure tablets meet specified thickness, weight, hardness, and friability standards.
Conduct in-process quality checks and accurately document all production data in batch manufacturing records (BMRs).
Clean and sanitize equipment and processing rooms, maintaining a audit-ready state compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Identify and report any mechanical malfunctions, deviations, or material discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
Assist in troubleshooting machinery issues to minimize downtime and optimize throughput.
Requirements & Qualifications
Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
Proven experience operating tablet compression machinery within a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or FMCG manufacturing environment.
Solid understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and health and safety regulations.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment setups and adjustments.
Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-driven, fast-paced environment.
