Job Summary
We have an exciting position available for a Human Resources Manager in the Roodepoort area to lead and direct the functions of the HR
department in maintaining and improving the people-asset of the organisation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Three to Five years generic HR experience
- Multilingual skills are preferred
- Profound level of skills in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organisation, interpersonal, and coaching skills
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information discreetly and professionally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with people comfortably and effectively at all levels in an organisation, and excellent listening skills
- Ability to work independently with limited support, using independent judgement and discretion
- Working knowledge of human resources information systems (HRIS)
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Provide strategic direction by developing and implementing an HR Strategy aligned with theoverall Business Strategy
- Managing the staffing process including recruitment, selection appointment and on boarding
- Ensure that job profiles are in place and up to date for all positions
- Ensure the effective application of performance management processes
- Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
- Ensure the effective application of the Disciplinary and Grievance procedures to ensure a healthy employee relations climate
- Coach line managers in the fair and consistent application of policies and procedures and discuss, advise, and train employees on it
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR Metrics
- Ensure compliance with all labour legislation.
