Job Summary
Our client in the government industry has an exciting EE opportunity for a Trainee Agent.
Requirements:
- Appropriate grade 12 certificate or an equivalent certificate.
- Labour relations qualification.
- 2 years of solid sales experience. Sales experience in the motor industry would be an advantage.
- 2 years’ experience with Labour Regulations.
- 1 year of experience of Bargaining Council Agreements.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Valid drivers’ license with 2 years’ experience in driving.
- Computer literacy including Word and Excel.
- Technical experience or knowledge in motor engineering. Experience in motor vehicle repairs would be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication as well as listening skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, management, existing and potential stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections by visiting establishments to ensure the collective agreements are maintained.
- Identify, advise and assist in correcting contraventions to the collective agreement.
- Improve communication regarding the collective agreement in all the establishments to promote healthy industrial relations.
- Make sure that member’s general awareness of the collection agreements is increased within assigned areas.
- Enforce the collective agreement through permitted legal processes.
- Manage and schedule appointments with the establishment in the assigned areas.
- Promote the benefits and functions of this company to members and during inspections.
