An expanding home study centre seeks a suitably qualified person to fill the above position and to assume responsibility for the smooth running of a centre with around 75 students. We accept students from grade 4 to matric and follow the Impaq curriculum.
The ideal candidate will need to have a minimum of 10 to 15 years hands on teaching experience, and preferably have had some staff management experience as well.
Due to the nature of the position, English as a home language is an essential requirement.
An important attribute will also be the ability to assist and counsel students with emotional or learning barriers, as these students form a fairly large percentage of our student body. Remedial or assisted learning experience will also augur well for an applicant.
A tax effective, market related salary will be negotiated, and will depend on the experience of the particular candidate.
