An amazing opportunity for a General Manager – Farming overseeing farming procedures at 3 farms based in Underberg
Provide support to the farm owner across all operations on the farm.
Improve communication, performance, efficiency, profitability, and neatness.
Reduce wastage and theft.
Overseeing all aspects of running the dairies i.e., overseeing milking procedures, checking herd records are up to date, maintaining herd health and reproductive management.
Managing the staff including checking staff registers and overtime records as well as taking disciplinary action when necessary (with HR company).
Overseeing the Pasture and crop management involving pasture walks, grazing rounds, planting, fertilizer application, and irrigation scheduling etc.
Ensuring Stock control of animals, feed, diesel, and fertiliser.
Sending production and stock reports to the trustees.
Includes house with electricity and water and a vehicle.
