Must have a Plant Pathology or relevant tertiary qualification
Working knowledge of RSA & Sub-Sahara Africa Regulatory requirements will be required
Must have a valid driver’s licence and be willing to travel in Africa
Excellent computer and communication skills are important
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Compiling and submitting registration application dossiers in compliance with statutory requirements of the regulatory authorities for Southern Africa, West Africa and East Africa.
Informing relevant internal Marketing, Business Managers and Logistics stakeholders of submissions and approvals.
Providing technical support to Sales and Marketing teams.
Preparing registration trial protocols and trial reports for registration applications with authorities.
Facilitating registration trials.
Preparing labels for registration purposes and ensuring that all labels conform to the requirements of the regulatory authorities concerned.
Ensuring that all promotional literature is technically correct and conforms to the destination country’s legal requirements.
Attending external industry meetings.
Maintaining an internal database and data management systems of registrations in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Providing regulatory support throughout the product life cycle.
Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in science, relevant legislation and guidelines.
Managing internal stakeholders to support compliance and implementation of regulatory projects
Engaging external stakeholders (e.g. policy makers and industry forums).
Maintaining and securing regulatory compliance at all times. Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
