Role & Responsibilities

Obtaining quotations and negotiating rates with transporters for new contracts
Liaising with transporters
Liaising with silo managers and farmers, and arranging loading
Booking trucks in to load at silos and farm venues
Movement planning and scheduling
Coordinate product delivery schedules with Execution (Client facing) desk
Book trucks in to offload with Execution Desk
Processing of daily transport orders
Handle transport invoice queries and claims, etc.
Imports and exports across multi-model transport means (road, rail, maritime)

Essential Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Transport / related field
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience
Experience within an office environment
Good communication skills, English and Afrikaans
Must be willing to work after hours
