Requirements:
- MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook – good level of proficiency will be advantageous.
- The candidate must have passed Grade 12 (Matric).
- A professional qualification in Logistics, Marketing or Sales will be a distinct advantage.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Very strong numerical skills.
- Strong administration skills.
- Independent & task orientated individual.
- Ability to learn and be flexible.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
Planning, Ordering and Stock Control:
- Accurate placement of weekly orders.
- Monitoring of stock in Cold Stores and, ensuring timeous export of pallets.
Customer and Client Liaison:
- Forge & maintain Customer and Agent relationships.
- Confirming of Weekly Pricing.
Administration:
- Generate weekly vessel loading plan.
- Management of container bookings.
- Generate loading instructions.
- Generate Invoices and Credit Notes.
- Processing of Account Sales.
- Actively participating in the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001:2015.
Successful candidates would be required to take on project and auditing roles outside of the packing season.
