Job Summary

Kalapeng Pharmacy is looking for a Responsible Pharmacist in Pretoria. Job Descriptions: -Accurately interpret scripts and act in professional and responsible manner, and within the legal requirements in accordance with the SAPC -Dispensing of any medicine or scheduled substance on the prescription of a person authorised to prescribe medicine -Manage the dispensary and the pharmacy staff -Stock control -Provide training for Pharmacy assistant -Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions -Provide advices on selection of Over-The-Counter medications to treat common illnesses such as flu, cold sores, COVID etc. -Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices such as blood pressure monitor and glucose meters - Supervise staff members including cashiers, pharmacist assistants, etc. -Proper management of patient records and pharmacy files -Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with SOPs. -Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labelling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration -Interact with Doctors and nurses –Advise to customers and interpret their needs Essential: Grade 12 / Matric BPharm / equivalent qualification. Registered with the (SAPC). Experience in supervising staff. Computer literate - MS Office/ ComPharm system skills an advantage send CV to careers@blackiq.co.za
