Medical Receptionist
Introduction
A gynaecology practice situated in a reputable Pretoria-based hospital, is seeking an
organised and sufficient Medical Receptionist with 6-8 years experience within a similar role to join their capable team.
Qualifications and Experience
• National Senior Certificate (Essential)
• Administrative or Secreterial Certificate/Diploma (Beneficial)
• Own transport
• 6-8 years’ experience within a similar role
• Computer Literate (MS Office Suite)
• Experience with ICD 10 codes is essential
• Vericlaim experience would be beneficial.
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent coordination, admin, and organisation skills
• Must work accurately and neatly
• Working hours: 07h00 – 17h00 (Fridays until 14h00, if work is completed)
Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for answering incoming calls.
• Directing calls to appropriate staff.
• Greeting and checking in all patients for office appointments, including paperwork for
patients to fill out.
• Scheduling and arranging patient appointments.
• Keeping patient files organised and up to date.
• Keeping the office neat and clean.
• Cleaning of medical equipment.
• Responsible for personal administrative tasks of the Doctor.
• Sending and organisation of theatre/operating lists.
Salary Offered
R 18 000 – R 20 000 CTC
