Job Summary
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification essential.
- A valid driver's licence with no endorsements is essential.
- Own vehicle essential (to be used for work purposes).
- 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience (essential).
- 1 - 2 years of driving experience (essential).
- Preference will be given to EE candidates in line with the company's EE plan (African and Coloured Males)
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide a reliable and professional delivery service, facilities management service as well as administration services to internal and external clients.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:
- Ensure that all claims are scanned and saved daily on relevant systems for processing.
- Various administration duties.
INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT:
- Maintenance of generator upkeep and testing.
- Security standby and callout support.
COMPANY VEHICLES:
- Plan and schedule deliveries/ collections with relevant clients according to business requirements.
- Load, transport and deliver/ collect items to/from the correct clients within agreed timeframes.
- Maintain an accurate daily record of deliveries/ collections, and kilometres travelled.
- adhere to traffic rules in order to avoid traffic fines and accidents.
- Perform daily vehicle safety checks and ensure the vehicle is neat, clean, and presentable.
- Ensure that the vehicles are maintained according to the maintenance and service plans.
