Ensure High Quality, safe and effective clinical care
-Work with the Senso Health clinical teams to embed systems and processes to deliver the highest quality patient centered care
-Ensure systems are in place to monitor the quality of care to ensure that all clinical areas are delivering ongoing improvements in the standards of nursing and midwifery care based on best evidence based practice
-With the Facility Manager lead on the development and expand the scope of quality improvement into every aspect of patient care and experience
-Work clinically to develop the skills of other nursing staff
-Ensure systems are in place to provide opportunities for learning and sharing good practice
-Ensure immediate actions are taken when professional standards fall short of those expected
-Implement agreed systems and processes to provide assurance of the delivery of patient safety and the prevention of harm in line with local and national standards of care
-Undertake audit and relevant nursing research
-Identify risks associated with nursing and the delivery of high quality patient care, escalating risks to the senior management teams as appropriate and implementing action plans to mitigate them
-Ensure nursing risks are included on the corporate risk register
-Working closely with the Clinical governance team ensure that learning from Serious Incidents and Internal reviews, complaints and claims are translated into learning and improvements across all clinical areas in the facility.
-Lead on the exemplar visits to the clinical areas, providing feedback to the clinical teams and written reports
-Support nursing staff with the development, implementation and monitoring of action plans to improve the quality of care
-Work in collaboration with the Quality Improvement Team (KPO) to implement quality improvement initiatives in the clinical areas
-Scope and implement national and international best practice applicable to the clinical areas
-Ensure meaningful multi-disciplinary involvement across all stakeholders, sufficient to negotiate and secure commitment to sustainable change
-Implement local monitoring systems/tools to ensure Ward/Department compliance with statutory and national standards and participate fully in regulatory assessment and scrutiny processes.
-Undertake clinical activity, with a visible presence to patients and staff, whilst monitoring the quality of care and experience of patients in all clinical settings
-Actively seek out and organise systems to capture the patient experience liaising with the Facility Manager-Support the effective management of patient pathways and flow through the organisation, ensuring the quality, safety and best patient experience is upper most in all decision
-Ensure that everyone within sphere of care is treated with dignity and humanity, understanding individual needs, showing compassion and sensitivity, and provide care in a way that respects all people equally.

Qualifications:
Registered Nurse
5 years minimum hospital experience required
Bachelor's degree minimum, Nursing, Pre-Med or Biology
