ENROLLED NURSE POSITION AVAILABLE AT CARE IN MIDSTREAM -Frail Care
Minimum requirements:
Must be a qualified Enrolled Nurse and be registered with SANC.
3 yrs. experience in similar position.
Geriatrics experience and will be advantageous.
Compulsory to be able to speak clear and fluent in the English and Afrikaans language.
Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
Other:
Excellent Nursing skills.
Understanding geriatric care.
Excellent knowledge of medical terminology.
Medication management.
Emergency management.
Excellent communication skills.
Compassion with people Mature and presentable.
Ability to interact with the residents as well as their families.
Actively maintain the stock management processes.
Strong computer literacy and knowledge of latest cell phone technology.
Support therapeutic and multi-disciplinary activities to achieve desired patient outcomes.
Capable of recognizing the need for action, considering possible risks, and taking responsibility for results.
Capable of making decisions timeously and taking responsibility for the consequences.
Evaluate and review effects of care plan on patient health status.
Be able to clearly communicate any change in health status to Nursing Manager and/or Doctor.
Daily involvement with all aspects of care
