Our client, an old age home in the Helderberg area, has an opportunity for Registered Nurses to join their team.

These positions involve the full spectrum of geriatric care for the elderly at the old age home and in the frail care unit.

Requirements:

Must be a registered Nurse with a valid annual registration with the SA Nursing Council.
At least 2 to 3 years’ experience of elderly care, as recently as 6 months’ ago.
Knowledgeable and skilled with regards to medication rounds.
Good wound care knowledge and skills.
Infection control experience, specifically with regards to Covid 19 regulations within the elderly care environment.
Computer literacy in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Proficiency in writing reports.
Must be a strong leader.
Must have relevant experience with regards to the management of geriatric conditions.
Must be willing to work shifts that include day and night shifts, and weekends.
Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English.

Area: Helderberg area – Strand / Somerset West.

Salary offered: R16 000 – R20 000 per month.

Starting date: As soon as possible.
