Job Summary

COMPLIANCE OFFICER – PAARL WC Job Description: The key responsibility of the Regulatory Compliance Officer is to ensure that the Company and its subsidiaries comply and operate in conformity with the regulatory and legal requirements as set out by Act 36 of 1947 of the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development (DALRRD). Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to): • Regulatory work associated with the registration of chemicals, mostly plant protection products, for use in the agricultural sector • Compiling dossiers according to the regulations and guidelines published by the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (Act 36 of 1947) • Manage and compile product labels, safety data sheets (SDS) as well as transport emergency cards (TEC) according to the relevant standards • Compile protocols for field/residue/fermentation trials in accordance with the set guidelines as set out by DALRRD • Classification of products according to Globally Harmonized System (GHS) • Liaison with DALRRD about pending applications • General admin, filing and office duties Minimum requirements: • A relevant tertiary qualification in a B.Sc. field would be beneficial • Previous Technical/Registration/Research & Development experience would be an added advantage • Must have excellent reportingand and com Salary: A competitive market related packaged is offered Submissions close: 31 May 2022 E-mail application: Applications with CV without ID, certificates and documents
