Job Summary
A well-established manufacturing company based in Johannesburg South is looking for a Workshop Supervisor to oversee the Electrical department.
Salary is between R25000 and R30000 per month (cost to company), negotiable
Responsibilities
- Directing and supervising workshop staff
- Planning schedules and activities
- Prioritising work schedules and allocating tasks
- Monitor progress and report to the manager
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety policies
- Ensuring stock levels are maintained
- Liaising with procurement department on stock requirements
- Sourcing quotes for materials and supplies.
- General administration and reporting
Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and electrical workshop essential
- Electrical qualification would be an advantage but not a necessity
- Supervisory/ people management experience essential
- Own vehicle and valid driver's license
