Job Summary
A well-established manufacturing company based in Johannesburg South is looking for a Production Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing production.
Salary is between R30000 and R40000 per month (cost to company), negotiable
Responsibilities
- Supervise the manufacturing process
- Plan and coordinate production processes
- Evaluate production activities and make recommendations for improvements
- Investigate problems, analyse root causes and derive resolutions.
- Provide engineering support for production activities
- Drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects
- Monitor expenses and profitability
- Manage production staff
- Provide training and guidance to team members
- Ensure quality standards are maintained
- Handle logistics, warehousing and stock
- Ensure compliance with health and safety processes and procedures
- Ensuring KPI’s are met
Qualifications
- Min 5 years’ experience in a production environment essential
- Engineering qualification
- People management experience essential
