- • 3 to 5 years’ experience in managing/supervising the maintenance function/team
- Sound Knowledge Of The Ohs Act
- Strong Experience In Budget Control, Capex, Projects, Continuous And Preventative Maintenance
- Exp in Heavy Manufacturing Industries, - Would Be strong Advantage
- 3 Years’ Automation Experience (PL’s)
- 3 Years Maintenance Manager Experience In Manufacturing Concern
- 3 Years Knowledge And Experience In Running Shut Downs And Preventative Maintenance Planning (Instrumentation, Fitters, Electricians & Millwrights)
- Min 3 Years Health And Safety Knowledge And Experience
Preventative Maintenance
- Ensuring The Proper Working Condition of equipment
- Achieve planned maintenance activities
- Plan and coordinate the preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
- Coordinate with Plant Manager, Shift Managers and Supervisors to schedule maintenance and project work.
- Coordinate and evaluate outside contractor maintenance work and shut downs
- Prepare and manage capital equipment installation projects.
- Oversee tradesmen performing project work.
- Assist in preparation of plant budget.
- Provide technical assistance to Plant Shift Managers and Supervisors
- Ensure inspection of equipment and machinery and recommend repair or replacement.
- Estimate time and material costs of repair or modification work.
- Initiate requisitions for necessary equipment materials, rental equipment or contracted
- Review operating reports and inspection records to identify faulty equipment.
- Maintain a computerized maintenance management system.
- Train personnel in the use of predictive maintenance equipment.
- Take ownership of full Maintenance function and Management of Personnel
