An exciting positions exists in Production - as a Logistics Controller at Sir Fruit, Devland, Gauteng. The role of the Logistics Controller is to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of our Sir Fruit. Objectives of the job: Processing of work orders ensuring variances are investigated and closed out. Weekly cycle counts undertaken and variances investigated. Monthly cycle count at offsite cold storage under taken and investigated Monthly stock counts with the stock take team and feedback provided. Arrange and ensure that loads from cold storage and other sites are executed as planned. Forklift, scrubber drier and pallet jack maintenance. Daily defrosting planning in conjunction with production planner and spot check against physical weekly. Monthly safety checks for fire extinguishers, ladders, electrical sockets and first aid boxers. System to reflect what is happening on the floor. Variance investigation and resolution. Corrective actions implemented to prevent root causes of systems discrepancies. Ensure stock is available on site and defrosted timeously. Always ensure that equipment is in good working condition. Education & Experience Matric- essential. Minimum 5 years experience as a Logistics Controller. FMCG experience -advantageous. Knowledge of Logistics Process and Procedures.
