Desired Experience & Qualifications:
• N3 with National Red seal qualification as electrician – non negotiable
• Must have at least 3 - 5 years’ maintenance experience in food processing industry
• Knowledge of a poultry abattoir will be of great advantage
• Must not be afraid of heights and small places to work in
• Possess excellent knowledge of fault finding
• Must be hands-on and self-driven
• Must have good communication and people skills
• Willing to work over time
• Work week-ends
• Participate in projects and work long hours
• Be physically fit for work and not be colour blind
• Must have knowledge of VSD’s, Soft starters, PLC’s
• Basic principles of Ammonia refrigeration will be an advantage
• Knowledge of repairing and calibrating scales
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Own transport
