Requirements:
- Have a sound understanding of a medium size company operations and the ability to manage staff and lead the strategies by example.
- Have a strong business acumen.
- Have a successful track record in sales and marketing to a diverse industry portfolio, with preference in the Raw material Chemical field.
- Have a strong list of Industry contacts.
- Can recognize and grow opportunities in a fast paced and fluid operation.
The key responsibilities of the position:
- The design and implementation of the business strategies, plans and procedures, in consultation with two sales managers and their sales teams across a diverse business operation into the
- Construction,
- Coatings, Plastics,
- Food and
- Chemical raw material industries.
- The setting of comprehensive goals for performance and growth in conjunction with the CEO and maintaining and growing a monthly Sales budget for the group.
- Participation with the management team in the establishment of policies that promote company culture and vision.
- The overseeing of the daily operations of the company and the work of Sales, Marketing and Logistics operations and team.
- The leading of employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
- The valuation of performance by analyzing and interpreting data.
- The writing and submitting of reports to the CEO in all matter of importance.
- The management of vendors / suppliers in conjunction with the management team or as appropriate
- The development and introduction of new products on a continuous basis.
- Direct account management on selective customers.
