- Sound working knowledge in Excel and SAP
- General accounting knowledge e.g., taxation, auditing, cashbook, debtors, creditors, EFT
- Tax laws, Companies Act and statutory requirements
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and finalisation of financial statements as per local GAAP and IFRS on monthly basis
- Responsible for the preparation of various MIS like operating performance along with variance analysis, scrap analysis, etc as decided by the management on monthly basis.
- Daily interaction with Financial Manager on financial requirements
- Interaction with company’s banks as required contact with company’s financial auditors as required contact with customers and suppliers as and when required.
- Monitor company’s financial performance via reports received and financial input into the accounting system
Reporting:
- Monitor compliance to departmental budgets and notify the Financial Manager of exceptions
- Responsible for preparation and finalisation of the budget on yearly basis along with the coordination with other departmental HODs.
- Preparation and finalisation of financial statements on monthly basis as per local GAAP and IFRS.
- Preparation of operating performance based on different Strategic Business Unit (SBU) along with the variance analysis on monthly basis.
- Responsible for reviewing the payroll entries and reconciliation with the payroll report as per HR department.
- Responsible for the preparation of projected cash flows on weekly basis.
- Responsible for assisting team members and financial manager on day-to-day activities.
- Responsible for doing various analysis like costs to sales ratio, direct costs to sales ratio, etc.
- Responsible for reviewing the statutory compliances to ensure the filing of various returns within the deadlines.
