* Scaffolding experience
* Need all offshore related certificates to go offshore and medical

National Group Payroll Manager (SAGE 300), Jhb West, R70 000 ctc
o Matric Certificate
o Accounting certificate and or any other relative tertiary qualification
o Diploma in Payroll Administration
o 10 years+ experience managing a payroll department.
o SAGE 300 Superuser Certification Mandatory
MINIMUM SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
o Income Tax knowledge
o Managerial skills
o Implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures
o Bargaining Council Collective agreement knowledge and understanding
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
o Competent in report writing and submission of board and management committee reports and packs
Manage the duties in the payroll department to ensure timeous and accurate payments of salaries, 3rd party payments and reporting, as well as supervise the department. Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting as requested by either HR and or Finance departments.
DUTIES
o Maintain accurate master file information.
o Design, implement and maintain a document control system.
o Ensure compliance with Bargaining Council’s collective agreements.
o Check all non-CTC items on the payroll system.
o Submit pay run to Financial Manager/CFO for approval.
o Periodically test the calculations of the payroll system by doing a manual calculation and comparing the results. Document these tests and keep a record thereof.
o Develop reports that will assist in generating efficient and accurate information when needed.
o Ensure efficient time management in order to meet all deadlines.
o Ensure timely review and submission of 3rd party payments to guarantee compliance to applicable legislation.
o Authorise and submit all payments to creditors department.
o Input relevant data into journal and allocate to GL. (Costing reports)
o Provide necessary structure or improvement regarding current processes to ensure a higher efficiency of the department.
o Managing all payroll reports, timesheets, individual attendance and other related documentation.
o Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year end reports for management.
o Reconcile PAYE deductions, prepare EMP501 and submit to SARS.
o Issue IRP5 certificates to all permanent and temporary staff.
o Oversee internal, external and any regulatory body audits as well as other statutory queries.
o Ensure general compliance with Tax legislation on wage and salary payrolls.
o Supervise and control daily activities of payroll staff.
o Monitor staff performance.
o Co – ordinate training of payroll staff and backup for absenteeism.
o Oversee updates on the payroll system.
o Monitor and oversee T&A systems and or system implementations.
o Co-ordinate training of payroll staff to ensure people are multi-skilled for succession and absence management.
o Assist with dummy payslips upon request.
o Co-ordinate and manage medical aid and GAP cover processes within the payroll department.
SYSPRO ERP & Systems Manager (Manufacturing) , JHB West, R70 000 ctc
o Syspro Certification / Relevant IT related field of study BSc / SYSPRO
o MCITP SQL Certification (Ideal)
o 5 + years Syspro System Administration experience (experience with month-ends and year-ends, security and permissions)
o Syspro functional experience including financial, distribution and manufacturing modules
o User training experience
o Project Management skills
o Experience in the development of new and existing programs
o Accounting knowledge
o Experience integrating Syspro with other interfaces
o Excellent problem-solving skills
o End to end project management and issue resolution experience
o Advanced Excel user
o Respond and work well under pressure
o Ability to complete tasks timeously and work until the task is complete
o Show initiative and ability to self-motivate and work alone frequently
JOB PURPOSE
The main purpose of your role as ERP & Systems Administrator is to offer IT related support to all employees. To control and co-ordinate the Information System’s technical and support function by monitoring and maintaining the ERP systems in respect of breakdown and performance, control user access, providing training to users.
o End User SYSPRO Support and training experience Advanced experience in troubleshooting SYSPRO related problems
o Create and maintain customized reports using MS SQL, SYSPRO reporting services, EXCEL
o Maintaining SYSPRO Document format
o Involved in setting up business processes and procedures
o Documenting and administration of SYSPRO
o Training of staff on Syspro Processes & Procedures
o Support of Syspro environment including Application Server, database and client PCs operating in a manufacturing environment
o Strong understanding of financial and production concepts
o Syspro functional experience including financial, distribution and manufacturing modules
o Ad Hoc reporting and development as needed including Syspro and SQL Server
o End user training at all levels with version upgrades
o Make up training/reference manuals for Syspro ERP modules in use
o Work directly with Finance department and production staff to streamline processes and correct barriers
o Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate technical information to non-technical employees within the business
o Have a drive and commitment to contribute to the professional development of others by imparting knowledge via training
o Ability to identify improvement areas and understand how this function interacts with various stakeholders within the business and thus be proactive with initiating such projects
o Strong report writing skills
o Strong understanding of financial and production/manufacturing concepts
o Understand the need for Disaster Recovery planning and system testing
o Willing to travel nationally and cross-border (Namibia)
