Job Summary
The role of the Investment Client Operations Analyst is to work closely with the strategic client relationship team in the daily servicing of a designated set of clients, invested via an Investment Management Agreement or equivalent, and to provide administrative support and reporting. Each Investment Client Operations Analyst has an allocation of clients. This allocation is dependent on the complexity and demands of each client, to ensure a pro-active high-quality service is delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Professional liaison with Institutional Clients (new clients, restructures, performance, off-market trade queries, etc.)
- Effective query management and resolution
- Client reporting (ad hoc, daily, monthly, quarterly, annual – including report generation)
- Liaison with investment operations, Client Managers, PMs, performance and attribution, dealing, implementations, finance, fund operations etc.
- Effective liaison with back-office administrators
- Provide information/support to Client Managers
- Checking monthly, quarterly investment statements and performance reports
- Updating of CRM system
- Identifying inefficiencies in processes
- Contributing to ad hoc projects aimed at streamlining processes
Candidate Requirements
- B Comm/B Bus Sci or any related Degree
- 3+ year relevant industry experience
- Client relationship management experience within Asset Management, Investment Management industry ideal
- Would also consider candidates from an accounting, auditing or consulting background
- Financial market knowledge (instruments and products)
- Financial accounting
- Numerate
