We have an opportunity for an Warehouse Manager to join our team in Johannesburg on a full time basis.
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 minimum – Higher Certificate/ Degree preferred
- Team leadership / management experience essential
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a warehouse management or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartedge, Netstock or any other stock management system
- Ability to problem solve and use initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and deadline driven
- Ability to work in a pressurized environment
- Accountable, responsible, reliable
- Team player

Job Description
- Oversee accuracy of dispatch department, including customer deliveries, route management, vehicle maintenance as well as stock being distributed to other branches
- Manage receiving department, including stock, repairs and returns
- Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the working environment
- Ensuring storage efficiencies, zoning and stock rotation is done
- Control inventory by conducting cycle counts and quarterly stock takes
- Maintain product and quality specifications at all times
- Ensure planned and preventative maintenance program is in place to minimize unplanned breakdowns/downtime
- Quality control checks on all receipts into the warehouse
- Fleet Management – vehicle inspections, licencing, servicing
- Optimize material consumption to reduce wastage
- Production ordering and planning
