ROLE OBJECTIVE:
The Picker is primarily responsible for accurately picking all outbound orders in the picking queue within predetermined timeframes. In addition, all Parcelninja employees are required to practice ethical behaviour and live the company’s values on a daily basis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
# Grade 12 mathematics - higher grade
# Previous warehouse/logistics experience is essential
# Living close to the company premises (Linbro Park) would be an advantage
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accurately pick assigned orders from shelves within the specified timeframe.
Pick orders in the picking queue according to the specified size, colour and quantity.
When required, operate scanners effectively so that orders are picked, and inventory is managed accurately.
Pick orders according to the correct quality standards, predetermined KPIs and Company SLA requirements.
Conduct a recon after each order is picked to ensure the correct quantity and quality.
Ensure that picking stations are clean and tidy at all times.
