Purpose of Job:
The Logistics Officer will report directly to the General Manager [Operations]. The primary responsibility of the Logistics Officer is to ensure that the Company’s Logistical Assets/Vehicles/Uniforms/Stock are controlled
and ensure that all equipment is fully functional.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure Stock Control of the Patrol devices/Radios/Cell Phones
• Responsible for tracking, receiving and stocking of all items ordered
• Ensure stock is appropriately stored
• Issue stock to Operations
• Liaise with the main Supplier regarding two-way radios repair/maintenance and hiring
• Ensure Programming of Cellphone devices for all sites
• Data Capturing of all Stock in Asset Register
• Ensure daily/monthly Reports are submitted accordingly
• Action quotations for repairs on equipment and purchasing of equipment
• Administrate and issue Business Unit Vehicles, Uniforms and Stock
• Order airtime vouchers for the Control Room
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric Certified
• Solid Computer Proficiency
• 3 years of Administration experience
• 2-3 years’ experience (proven track record) in Logistics
• Relevant Knowledge of Logistics will be advantageous
• Driver’s License Code 08
