Degree in Supply Chain or production management
2 years planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in scheduling and inventory movements
MS Office Package - MS Excel intermediate level.
Enterprise Resource Planning systems experience in a manufacturing
Translate customer orders into material to support production orders and confirm customer orders in order with agreed lead-times from supplying plant.
Cycle counts to ensure system and physical inventory matches.
Recognize by pro-active review when scheduled deliveries will take place and work with supply chain to expedite and re-schedule as required
Create a 30 day days production plan Work closely with team in achieving inventory targets
Produce and update the production and assembly plans (schedules) as and when required thereby ensuring that OE parts are produced in sufficient quantities to complete the required assemblies and loose parts as per customer requirements.
Ensure materials and parts are issued in accordance with the determined schedules via works orders and close out once completed.
Prioritize works orders to meet customer requirements
Ensure other product movements and transfers have necessary documentation, is sufficiently completed and such documentation is timeously captured in system.
Monitor stock accuracy at regular intervals, conduct stock counts as and when required and prepare stock adjustment documents.
