BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER X 2 - Our client in DURBAN is seeking to fill this role. Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in the Logistics Industry

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Must have a Grade 12 or Senior Certificate equivalent (to be submitted with application)

Bcom Logistics would be preferable (to be submitted with application)

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Development of New Business

Focus on development of New Business Revenue growth through prospecting, qualifying and closing deals

Prepare tenders, reports, presentations, proposals /rates for all types of customers

Generate and follow up on qualified leads in line with company specific requirements

Analyse clients needs and propose Rhenus specific solutions and close the deal

Service Excellence

Ensure continuous follow-up on pending clients and prospects

Manager and retain client relationships on all levels and provide a professional service including after-sales services, client enquiries and regular follow ups

Sales Target and Administration

Exceed sales objective of assigned targets by promoting and selling all Rhenus services through professional sales

Ensure consistent achievement of all relevant product/monthly targets

Manage all relevant internal administrative processes

Attend all meetings

Product knowledge

Learn new products knowledge and acquire improved selling skills and communicate to the Sales Team

Keep abreast of competition services and markets

Communications

Ensure effective and ongoing communication between the sales teams and supporting departments within the Company at all levels

Respond and assist on all Sales department queries as communication by the sales team

Ensure effective communication with colleagues and clients
