Essential: Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Management.
5 – 10 years’ experience in new business sales experience.
Essential: Knowledge of forwarding and clearing with in freight forwarding.
Proven track record in similar environment preferred.
Duties and responsibilities:
Securing profitable new business by promoting the company’s services.
Identifying potential markets and sales opportunities.
Retaining new business through ongoing relationships and securing new profitable business.
Ensuring that clients operate within their agreed payment terms and the credit terms
Implementing and developing an appropriate sales plan and conducting sales calls.
Ensuring that new clients have a clear understanding of the services and the rates that gets offered in the proposal.
Needs to attend to customer queries and conducting weekly call reports.
Assist accounts with the collection of outstanding monies when required.
Ensuring that all contractual conditions are properly understood and conducted.
The completion of SOPs for key accounts and ensure operations have a clear understanding of the services required.
Focusing on customer satisfaction and deliver service excellence.
