Responsibilities
Data Collection and Analysis: Make authoritative recommendations that have a significant impact on the business over the short and long term. Recommendations could be technical or professional in nature.
Data Management: Manages key aspects of the master data management system, including the operational key elements of the system.
Supply Chain Management: Achieve specific goals for area of responsibility by working within an established supplier management plan or finding ways to improve it.
Stakeholder Engagement: Contribute to internal stakeholder engagement through identifying internal stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concern and reacting to these by arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment.
Demand Planning: Contribute to the development of annual and longer-term business plans; forecast performance against business key performance indicators; provides input to the development of business cases for key activities/projects.
Supply Planning: Execute planning activities for several manufacturing/distribution units with dependencies on other processes/units/suppliers. Provide input to the overall supply planning framework and systems.
Performance Management: Priorities own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of productivity, quality, and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance.
TASKS Accurate and effective systems:
Adhere to the 5 steps of the DDMRP process, paying particular attention to stocking strategy to ensure the flow of relevant information and inventory throughout the organisation (both Stock on hand and Net Flow in green
Scrutinise QAA to ensure high levels of master data accuracy.
Implement new DDMRP functionality and assist with training and change management.
Accurate and optimised stock items:
Monitor and analyse KPI’s (e.g., SOWD, OTIF, Overstocked items, QAA, Backorders, etc) Perform root cause analysis of system failures and implement corrective action
Manage items through their lifecycle, including the development of an action plan to manage slow moving / excess stock.
Constructive relations with relevant stakeholders:
Ensure compliance to relevant company policies and procedures
Facilitate all monthly review meetings with stakeholders (each branch / site, CCO Team, Distribution team, RSM, CM. Deliverables include validate and amend distribution network setup, replenishment strategy, ADU, forecasts, statement of demand, Stock levels vs target, blue stock)
Assist team members as and when required and take on duties over and above what is described here (as the nature of the role changes and as circumstances dictate).
